Thursday–Saturday: 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, & 2:30 pm
Cost: (includes three buildings):
$15 for adults
$12 for seniors (65+)
$6 student (6−18 yrs.)

Specialty Tour of Old Place
First and Third Friday: 11:00 am, 1:00 pm
Every Friday a costumed docent will give you a tour about life in Austin's Colony. The tour focuses on the hardships of daily life in the early 1820s. A costumed interpreter explains and demonstrates important facets of textile production on the frontier - spinning, dyeing, and weaving in addition to the regular domestic activities of that era. Other areas being addressed include building construction methods and tools, the empressario system of colonization in Texas, and land grants.
Cell Phone Tours
IIf you don't have time for a docent-guided tour, you can learn about the buildings by using your cell phone. You can access the cell phone tour either through this website heritagesociety.oncell.com or by calling 713-568-9190. The instructions for taking a free cell phone tour are posted on signs in front of each historic building.each historic building.
The Heritage Society is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
Sam Houston Park Hours
Sam Houston Park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
Tuesday–Saturday: 10:00 am–4:00 pm.
5 for adults, $2 children 5–18
