Get married or renew your vows on the most romantic day of the year!

One lucky couple will be winning a free Express Wedding Package for a ceremony on Valentine's Day, on Monday, February 14, at our historic St. John Church at Sam Houston Park.  This opportunity with an approximate value of $3,000 is open to the public.  The winning couple must attain a marriage license by February 14 to take advantage of this free, romantic wedding opportunity.  The winner will be drawn on Friday, February 11, 2022, and the announcement will be made at 11:00 AM on Instagram and Facebook (the winning couple will be notified via email provided below).

The lucky couple will receive a quaint and classic one-hour ceremonial experience (approx. value of $3,000) for an express wedding ceremony on Monday, February 14, 2022, with -

  • An officiant

  • A decorated historic St. John Church (up to 10 guests)

  • Musician(s) and/or music

  • A floral bouquet and a boutonniere

  • A photographer

  • A champagne toast and small pastries

  • Security

  • Free parking

The wedding date for the contest prize is Monday, February 14.

IMPORTANT: It is the couple’s responsibility to obtain their marriage license by the date of their wedding on Monday, February 14. Plan ahead and perform research. Here is the license application process for Harris County and (FAQs). You will have to apply for your marriage license more than 3 days (or 72 hours) before your wedding ceremony. This is a mandatory requirement in Texas for your marriage to be legally valid. If your spouse is in the military, the 72-hour waiting period is waived. They will need to show active military ID when the Harris County marriage license is purchased.
