Candlelight Volunteers

Event Date:  Friday & Saturday, December 11 & 12, 2009

Event Time:  6:30-9:30 p.m.

Event Location:  Sam Houston Park, 1100 Bagby in downtown Houston

Event Description: The Heritage Society's 47th Annual Candlelight Tour showcases eight of Houston's oldest historic structures trimmed to perfection in traditional 19th century décor.  The flicker of candles carefully set out specifically for the event illuminates Sam Houston Park. Additionally, The Heritage Society Museum Gallery will feature Spinning a Yarn: Houston History Through Clothing exhibit. Children may also have their photo taken with Santa, play in the snow, enjoy a holiday story reading, and make crafts at Santa's Workshop.
