Hours & Admission 

Museum Hours
Tuesday through Saturday:  10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday:  1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Historic House Tour Hours

• Tuesday-Saturday:  10:00 a.m.,
  11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., & 2:30 p.m.

• Sunday:  1:00 p.m. & 2:30 p.m., reservations are encouraged, call 713.655.1912 ext. 101 or emartin@heritagesociety.org

Holiday Hours
The Heritage Society Tour Office and Museum Gallery will be closed December 31, 2009–January 1, 2010.

The Heritage Society is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.

Cell Phone Tours
If you don't have time for a docent guided tour you can take a cell phone tour. The Heritage Society has launched an alternative programming tool–cell phone audio tours. As you stroll through Sam Houston Park, you can dial  a number on your cell phone and listen to a brief commentary about each of the historic structures that have been restored by The Heritage Society: The tour phone number and system instructions are posted on signs in front of each structure. Now you can not only walk into Houston’s past, but you can listen to it as well.

Admission
The museum gallery is always free. 

Historic House Tour Prices: 

• $10.00 for adults

• $8.00 for seniors (65+)

• 18 and under are free

• Free for members and children under 18
  Tour prices are for our standard four-house tour.

Group Rates
Group rates are available for student and scout tours only. Groups of six or more must make a reservation at least two weeks in advance. To make a reservation or to request more information on group tours, please contact the Program Associate at
